From first call to running AI agent — here's how it works

No mystery, no corporate jargon. Four steps, and you'll know exactly what's happening at each one. Your first automations are typically running in 1–2 days, with the full deployment wrapping up within a week.

Step 1

Discovery call

A free 30-minute call where I learn about your business, the tools you already use, and the pain points eating your time. You don't need to prepare anything — just show up and tell me what frustrates you.

By the end of the call, you'll know whether it's worth exploring further. If AI isn't the right fit, I'll tell you straight. No pitch, no follow-up emails pestering you.

Step 2

Deployment

I deploy the right tool — OpenClaw, Claude Code, or a custom setup — on your Mac Mini, office desktop, or VPS. I configure all the integrations (email, calendar, CRM, document management) and lock everything down with proper security hardening.

The core setup takes 1–2 days — your agent is running and handling its first tasks. Additional integrations and more complex workflows fill out the rest of the week. I test every workflow thoroughly before calling it done. If you chose a local setup, your data stays on your machines the entire time. If we're using a cloud provider, I make sure the data flow is documented and compliant.

Step 3

Training and handoff

I walk your team through everything. How to use the AI agent, how to tweak it, what to do if something goes wrong. No one gets left staring at a blinking cursor wondering what to type.

You'll also get written documentation covering your specific setup — not a generic manual, but step-by-step instructions for your configuration, your integrations, your workflows. After handoff, you're fully self-sufficient.

Step 4

Ongoing support

This part's optional. Some businesses are happy running things on their own after training. Others want a safety net — and that's what the monthly retainer is for.

I'll handle monitoring, security patches, software updates, and a monthly health report. Need a new workflow? Want to fine-tune how the agent handles a specific task? That's covered too. You get a direct line to me whenever something needs adjusting.

Common questions

How long does a deployment take?
The initial setup — getting the agent running and your first workflows automated — typically takes 1–2 days. From there, the timeline depends on how many systems you want connected and how complex your workflows are. A full deployment with multiple integrations usually wraps up within a week. I'll give you a clear timeline during the discovery call.
What hardware do I need?
A Mac Mini (~EUR 700) is the sweet spot for most small businesses — its unified memory architecture lets the CPU and GPU share the same RAM, which is exactly what local AI models need to run well. A desktop you already own works too, as long as it has 16 GB of RAM. If you'd rather not run hardware in your office, a VPS from EUR 20/month does the job. We'll figure out the right setup during the discovery call.
What access do you need during setup?
Typically SSH access to the target machine, admin credentials for the services you want to integrate (email, CRM, calendar), and a point of contact on your team who can answer questions about your workflows. I don't need access to your entire network — just the systems the AI agent will interact with.
Do I own everything after setup?
Yes. The AI agent runs on your hardware, the configurations are yours, and you get full documentation. If you decide to part ways, everything stays with you. There's no vendor lock-in, no proprietary layer, and no recurring license fee for the tools I deploy.
Do you do multi-agent deployments?
Yes. Some businesses benefit from having separate AI agents for different functions — one for customer support, another for internal operations, a third for research. I can set up and coordinate multiple agents so they work together without stepping on each other's toes.
